Winding Down

Well folks, it looks like things here are moving towards the finish line here at NSJ 2005. Scattered Midway exhibitors are packing up and Scouts are looking a bit ragged after last night's Arena Show. Nevertheless morale remains high as more Scouts finish up the Electronics merit badge and grab opportunities to visit events they missed during the week. Tomorrow is the last full day here, although it appears as if a lot of the Midway will be packed up starting around midday. The sign at left is from Surveying Merit Badge

Winding down .... hard to believe that it is almost over. Will be glad to get my son back home... But boy will he be tired. Thanks so much for all the hard work and dedication that has gone into this site. It has been a great way for us parents to see the Jamboree from afar. Will you be around for the World Jamboree in 2007?

We have had discussions this week concerning the World Jamboree in 2007 and have been introduced to a professional scouter with WOSM in Geneva. Cleon Anderson, the IEEE President and Dick Schwartz, the IEEE CFO were at our booth today. We will be having dinner tonight and I plan on discussing possible World Jamboree participation.

Oh the letdown. As it sounds like today is becoming a packing day it appears the web sites are slowing down in post stuff. Withdrawal, waiting for our sun to come home tomorrow late!
Thanks again from a parent who really enjoyed this web site and your photos! It gave us a sense of being there with them, virtual visit!
Thanks!
