Arena Show That Wasn't
The pics are up at www.emeritbadges.org of last evenings Arena Show. Forgive the lack of captions. We're working through and extremely slow Internet connection and doing our best. Check out the firetrucks hosing down the kids.
Thanks for the photos. Could you get a photo of subcamp 20, my son's camp?
I enjoyed the streaming radio , even the hesitant scouts do DJ work.
At least I got a chance to view the Jamboree because of your photos. I drove down last night and was turn away after over 2 hr on the road since the canceled the show.
There is a troll on this site and you know who you are with the anti Boy Scout attitude. Since this is for Boy Scouts and those who are affiliated, such as parents and other scouts, could you please go bother other people with your infantile attempts to start an arguement?
The comments above by Anonymous are typical phrase words that signal mental health issues. They remain anonymous because his/her god (or ego) is too small. He/she is so afraid...I pity such small fearful minds. Looking to make meaning of their own pitiful lives by tearing down something they don't understand. They usually end up dying alone, bitter, confused, babbling to their jello in a state institution surrounded by strangers. So sad. Moving on…looks to be a great day for the Jambo. Keep the pictures coming!!
Yes, so sad and pathetic. Hey anyone been listening to the radio station? It's great! I feel like I am there! My son is probably not even listening to it!

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I think people who support this evil war and do so in the name of Christ are delusional and mentally ill.
Every Christian who does not speak out against the atrocities being done in the name of Jesus Christ makes a mockery of Christianity.
The Boy Scouts are rah rah USA which means they are warmongerers, even if they never mention the war.
Has any Boy Scout Troop spoken out about the war? Has any Boy Scout Troop ever shown signs of standing up to evil authority?
The Boy Scouts is permeated by Christianity and militaristic propaganda. But hey, the shorts are cute.
I have been listening to QBSA all day as well...It does make me feel closer to being there. I am determined to make the next one with my Webelo who will be 14 in 2010. My older son is in subcamp 20 troop 2061 and having a great time.

Pictures are great. Keep them coming!
Who decided you all should meet in Virginia instead of Yosemite, Yellowstone, Grand Canyon or some other beautiful natural place?
Was it the same bozo who decided to erect a dining tent right near electric power lines?
If so, you might want to consider hiring a new Grand Pooh-Bah.
Thanks for the great photos, and cool site. Lets me see what my boys are experiencing! Awesome.
The website is wonderful. Thank you SO much for the link to streaming audio KBSA. Listening to the crystal-clear radio sound is like being there.
You are doing an awesome job giving us a view of what our kids are doing. Thank you so much!!!!

Carl, et. al:
It's great to continue experiencing the Jambo through your photos. Hopefully, there will be an openning arena show.

...don't give in to hate. That leads to the dark side.

I love the radio station. I listen all day. I work from home on my computer. I told my son to stop by and say hi!
I listen to it all day too...makes me feel like I'm experiencing a little of the excitement my son does.

My husband and I decided we would like to try and get on staff for the next one. My son will be out of scouts by then but we are it for life anyway!
